Roof gardens present a number of unique design challenges. Often space is a limited and weight is an obvious factor. This simple design uses regular flag stones laid on supporting feet in place of a sub base and cement bed. The focal element is a bespoke built black slate water feature. Livingreen barrier planters, filled with light weight soil, are used to introduce planting around the open patio area.
